Jennifer H. Fiorini, MD

Dr. Jennifer Fiorini joined Coastal Carolina Surgical Specialists in August of 2006 following the completion of her medical doctorate, internship and general surgery residency at nearby Medical University of South Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Dr. Fiorini is an associate member of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association. She has conducted research in transplant surgery and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Dr. Fiorini is currently in the process of completing her American Board of Surgery Certification and is on staff at both Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center.

Karl D. Stiegler, MD

Dr. Karl D. Stiegler is our staff General Surgeon serving our Colleton Medical Center branch. He earned his medical doctorate from the Tulane University School of Medicine after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee. He went on to complete his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Stiegler performs general surgery procedures including, but not limited to gastrointestinal, thoracic, identification laparoscopy and endoscopy, as well as on-call trauma/burn assessment and surgery. He is a primary referral physician for dialysis vascular access.

Dr. Stiegler holds several positions at Colleton Medical Center including Chairman of the Credentials Committee, Member of the Ethics Committee and New Technology Committee and Board Member of the Medical Executive Committee of the Ambulatory Surgical Center.
